‘American Horror Story’ Unleashes A Premiere Date For Season Six, But Not Much Else

At this point in its existence, it doesn’t matter what American Horror Story will do with its premise. The entire thing will change by the conclusion of the season and a dozen other crazy plot twists will change how viewers perceive the entire thing anyway. So the fact that we don’t know much about season six shouldn’t be alarming. Lady Gaga, Sarah Paulson, and Cheyenne Jackson are all returning for whatever bloody, sexual, crazy story Ryan Murphy can concoct. And we also know when the show will be returning, alongside some of FX’s newest sitcom offerings:

The new installment of American Horror Story will begin haunting TV screens on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET. Before that, the Donald Glover-created comedy Atlanta will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. ET, and Pamela Adlon’s new project Better Things makes its premiere Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 p.m. ET.

Atlanta should at least be interesting based on Glover’s past work alone and we’ve also seen a little bit of brilliance from Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon in Better Things. So the only real sticking point here is American Horror Story. Will the mystery behind the plot be a good thing? Maybe we’ll get a deeper look at Comic-Con, with cast and crew in attendance to answer those dire questions.

My main question is how I can get my DVR to stop episodes from cutting off before they’ve finished. Also, how many characters will just be popping in at random this season to confuse the hell out of me.
