Weekend Preview: Everything Goes To Hell On The ‘Preacher’ Season Finale

Preacher

AMC

Preacher (AMC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – If nothing else, the first season of AMC’s Preacher has been one hell of a ride. A lot has happened – we learned Quincannon’s meaty back story, Jesse has become the character everyone loves to hate, and Tulip and Cassidy’s friendship deserves its own sitcom (it’d be a dark, bloody, dog-eating sitcom, but it’d still be funny). Tonight, Quincannon has given Jesse one last chance to speak to his congregation and the preacher is using it to finally get some answers from the Big Man himself.

Killjoys (Syfy, Friday 9:00 p.m.) – D’av has some surprising side effects from Khlyen’s Red 17 experiments while Johnny escorts Pawter home for a family reunion.

Dark Matter (Syfy, Friday 10:00 p.m.) – The Raza crew gets help from the Andriod in tracking down a familiar enemy.

Rush Hour (CBS, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) – When a young woman disappears from a hotel believed to be haunted, the team launches an investigation that has ties to a case from five years ago.

Stride Gum Presents Heaven Sent (Fox, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) – If watching a skydiver jump from an airplane at 25,000 feet with no parachute interests you, tonight’s your lucky night.

Boston EMS (ABC, Saturday 10:00 p.m.) – Season two kicks off with a team of first responders from Boston Emergency Medical Services being called to a crowded park where a man — who might be wearing explosives — has just been stabbed.

The American West (AMC, Saturday 10:00 p.m.) – Season one ends as Wyatt Earp goes on a lawless crusade for justice, Jesse James has a showdown with the Ford brothers, and Sitting Bull starts a rebellion.

Celebrity Family Feud (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) – A few Bachelor and Bachelorette cast members square off. Later, some IndyCar drivers take on Sports Illustrated models.

Teen Choice 2016 (Fox, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Charlie Puth and Serayah perform at the 18th annual event celebrating entertainment, sports, fashion and the Internet. Also, Justin Timberlake’s getting something called the Decade Award.

Meanwhile, Teresa spirals into a postpartum depression and Mickey tries to convince the police he was the sole person responsible for the Minassian massacre.

The $100,000 Pyramid (ABC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – It’s Alfonso Ribeiro vs. Mario Batali; and Barbara Corcoran vs. Daymond John tonight.

The Last Ship (TNT, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Chandler investigates a potential virus mutation as America recovers from tragedy.

The Night Of (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) – Stone has his hands full searching for clues to the crime in question.
